Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Thepanondh is chosen as a member of the ad hoc group of experts to the Minamata convention on mercury secretariat by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Representing an expert from the Asia-Pacific region, he will work togerther with 11 representatives from other regions to work on evaluation of the effectiveness of the Convention. His tasks include the development of monitoring methodology, emission inventory and modeling of atmospheric mercury to be used under the Minamata Convention.
